1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ExamPrep.AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the App. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ExamPrep.AI is a study planning application that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised revision schedules, study tasks, and practice activities based on exam board specifications. The App is designed to assist with exam preparation but does not guarantee any specific academic results or grades.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Parent accounts may create and manage child accounts. By creating a child account, the parent confirms they have the authority to do so. Each user may only maintain one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Parent and Child Accounts

Parent accounts can view their linked child's study plan, tasks, and progress. Parents cannot mark tasks as complete on behalf of their child. A child account can be linked to one parent account at a time. Linking requires the child's approval. Either party may request to unlink, which requires approval from the other before taking effect.

5. AI-Generated Content

Study plans, revision instructions, and practice tasks are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. ExamPrep.AI does not guarantee that generated content perfectly matches any specific exam board syllabus. Users should cross-reference important information with official exam board materials. The App is a study aid and should not be relied upon as your sole source of exam preparation.

6. Subscription and Payments

ExamPrep.AI offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly (£4.99/month) or annually (£47.99/year) and are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

A single Premium subscription covers the purchaser and any accounts currently linked to them via the parent-child linking feature. For example, if a parent purchases Premium, all of their actively linked child accounts receive Premium features at no additional cost, and vice versa. If a linked account becomes unlinked, only the actual subscription purchaser retains Premium access; other previously linked accounts will return to the free tier.

7. Free Tier Limitations

The free tier includes full access to AI-generated study plans, timetable creation, daily tasks, exam countdowns, and study reminders. Premium features including parent notifications for exams and progress, topic completion tests, multiple child accounts, and priority support require an active premium subscription on the user's own account or on an actively linked parent or child account.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems;
• share your account credentials with others;
• use automated systems or bots to access the App;
• interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality; or
• attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Data and Privacy

We collect and process personal data as necessary to provide the service, including your name, email address, study preferences, and usage data. Your study plans and progress data are stored securely and are only accessible to you and any linked parent account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. 10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of ExamPrep.AI is owned by ExamPrep.AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. Exam board names, specification references, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge, WJEC, College Board, IBO, etc.). ExamPrep.AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any exam board.

11. Limitation of Liability

ExamPrep.AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExamPrep.AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, academic underperformance, or missed deadlines. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50.

12. Service Availability

We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.

15. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
